![]() How loud, crowded, smoky and full of homeless people is the Golden Nugget going to be?Īre there any smaller, quieter hotels that are nearby that we should look at instead of staying at the Golden Nugget? We don't need all the frills. I'm not judgy about homeless, cuz I'm aware it's a complex and sad problem, but need to know what to expect. Yep-couple of wet blankets here, lol!īiggest concerns are the crowds, noise, smoke, homeless passed out at slot machines and hanging out in some of the main bathrooms (according to reviews). We are super mellow nature lovers and aren't really into gambling, drinking or big flashy shows. But hey, it's my cousin and I'm trying to find a way to make this work! Ocean Prime Las Vegas is located on the Las Vegas Strip and will be over 14000 sq.ft with a rooftop terrace, three bars, and three private dining rooms. I have been only once to Vegas many years ago, and not my kinda place. She said she has never stayed downtown, and wanted to try it out. We wanted to experience staying both on The Strip as well as the downtown Fremont Street area. We were pleased with our 2-night Gold Tower pool-view room at the Golden Nugget - for less than 1/2 of the price of the Aria, I might add. My cousin is getting married in early April at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in downtown. This was our 2nd hotel on our Las Vegas trip - we stayed at the Aria a few days prior.
